We are a friendly group of Bible believing Christians. Our Church is based in the Pollok area of Glasgow.
We particularly look to care for and help people who find life a struggle, whether in the G53 area of Glasgow or beyond.
We are a Baptist Church which means that we believe that God loves everyone, including you.
One of the main ways God shared His love was through His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ. He came to earth about 2,000 years ago to show love, die on a cross and rise again, so that – as we individually make a commitment of belief in Him – He can fill us with His Holy Spirit and we can have a true, real, living relationship and friendship with God.
We all need a friend like that in today’s world!
Being a Baptist Church also means we believe that God is One God in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and that the Bible is the Word of God inspired by God the Holy Spirit.
It is also our practice that, whilst we have a Leadership Team (two Pastors and some, what we call, ‘Deacons’) looking after the day-to-day matters of the church, all the church members are involved in deciding what the church does and how it runs.
We also practice baptism of believing adults, usually by immersion.
